(LOS ANGELES, CA. – Wednesday, March 2, 2022) The X League continues to ready for the upcoming inaugural season by naming executive hires, media and investment partnerships, and now a multi-year partnership with Aggregate Sports as its official corporate sponsorship agency.
Led by its innovative media strategy, the X League is focused on empowering female athletes and therefore is ideally positioned for corporate sponsors that want to be the driving force behind the next frontier in America’s favorite professional sport.
Aggregate Sports has extensive experience working with preeminent properties that feature some of the best female athletes in the world, which brings a natural synergy to the X League. The company’s executive leadership has successfully delivered and advised on over one billion dollars in sponsorship and media revenue on behalf of dozens of global sports entities, including organizations like U.S. Figure Skating, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the National Football League (NFL), and Major League Soccer (MLS).
“Football is the only major sport that lacks a women’s commercial platform. We believe in leveling the playing field for women and future generations of girls that want to play the game at the highest level and look forward to partnering with corporate sponsors that share our vision,” said Chris Pearlman, CEO, Aggregate Sports. “Further, the X League’s IP presents one of the most innovative digital media strategies in sports alongside a reach that will allow fans in the US, UK, Germany, Australia, Mexico, and Canada to really see individual aspects of game play in ways that aren’t available with other leagues,” Pearlman added.
The X League structured as a single-entity league will provide its corporate partners official and exclusive ownership of categories across not only the national league but each of its clubs. In addition to the US, globally-focused corporate partners will have the opportunity to acquire exclusive rights across each of the X League’s worldwide leagues.
“A vital pillar to enabling a future in the sport for generations of young girls wanting to play will be corporate sponsorship. Our corporate partners will enable girls like 13yr. old Amaya Moreno who is a nationally recognized Quarterback to have an opportunity to aspire toward a commercial and national women’s football league just as her male counterparts dream of one day playing in the NFL”, said, Mike Ditka, X League, Chairman. “We will rely on Aggregate Sports to seek out corporate sponsors who not only appreciate the social responsibility of championing America’s sport of football for both men and women, but those sponsors who also understand the commercial opportunity that comes with driving the category”, added Ditka.
In addition to traditional sponsorships across beverage, automotive, financial, apparel, mobile, amongst others – the X League will also be aligning with emerging categories with a focus on digital such as NFTs, Cryptocurrency, and Sports Gaming all of which will be an organic part of the X League’s digital strategy which will be a first-of-its-kind in LIVE sports viewing.
